Monti is the new face of Latin pop music. Although Monti is bringing a fresh sound to Latin audiences, he is no stranger to the world of pop music. As one of the lead members of the legendary Latin pop group Menudo back in 2007, Monti starred in a hit M TV series " Making Menudo ", toured across the globe and worked with different artists including The Jonas Brothers, Bruno Mars, and Pitbull to name a few. Menudo released a single written and produced by Bruno Mars, which reached the Billboard Top 20 Chart, as well as in EP composed of 4 songs with Executive Producer RedOne through Epic Sony BMG
After leaving the group, Monti moved back to Texas to further his education, pursuing a Business Degree at Texas A&M International University. Monti then moved to Miami, FL to become one of the lead singers of Latin group "Treo" and continue his music career, this time in the Spanish market. "Treo" released multiple singles in the US and Latin America, were nominated for a "Premios Lo Nuestro" award, and later released an album titled "Genera", which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2016 for "Best Tropical Fusion Album". Monti co-wrote and co-produced the album receiving his first Latin Grammy Nomination as a vocalist and songwriter.
Today, Monti has taken his experience in the last 10 years of his career to formulating the right direction and intention with his music. As an openly gay artist, Monti is now an advocate for the LGBTQ community and is performing at different music festivals nationwide. He mentions, "music is about bringing people together, not separating society. I want to be an artist that creates a positive atmosphere for my fans to be whomever they truly are and own their truth. I will always continue to spread love to the world; that is most important for me ". Monti has released 4 singles during his solo career in which he initiated in 2019, and is set to release his next single in June 2020. He is continuously in the studio writing new music, collaborating with other songwriters and artists for different projects.
